Microsoft's free to play game 'Microsoft Flight' is now available on Steam. The free to play sim is doing quite well over on Games for Windows Live and at time of writing is already number 32 on Steam's top 100 player activity charts.

The free game gives you the opportunity to explore the skies over the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii in the state-of-the-art Icon A5 or the classic Boeing Stearman. Do you need a GFWL account if you install Microsoft Flight and Age of Empires Online through Steam?

Some GFWL games like Dirt 3 and Bioshock still require to have GFWL client installed even you install them through Steam.

Yes, you will have to install GFWL Marketplace client to run this game. If you buy a DLC on Steam you can redeem it on GFWL, and vice verse.

They added Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero, a Japanese fighter plane. I hope they will add jets too.
