Microsoft revealed the new Visual Studio 11 interface in a post detailing how to submit Windows 8 apps to the Windows Store. It depicts a new, flat interface with monotoned buttons and little color other than Aero. It's almost like Microsoft tried to squeeze Metro and traditional Windows styling together.
It seems like this version will be released with Windows 8 'consumer preview' on February 29.

So ... your saying that the past two versions of Windows was badly done, a horrible GUI mess, or just the product of a bad marketing team?I guess it's because Aero doesn't convey a unified brand image the same way Metro does for them...

Screw You Microsoft. Why do they hate Aero so much?
Anyway... I suppose i will live with it.

Or thats what the story from the rumor mill is saying. Dont know if it is true or not. But there is a pic posted of the guy that did the Windows 8 UI at his desk ... and every single computing item on his desk was an Apple product.
