If you still want to use wikipedia, then install my user-style, I am also anti-SOPA but sometimes you just need to access Wikipedia

Works in Firefox and Chrome, though you should be able to copy the css and use it in other browsers

:bulletblue: Install

Turning off JavaScript also works. I think Wikipedia made a mention of these things anyways. It was done in a obviously defeatable way. If they really wanted to be serious on it they would of just prevented any page requests for things other than the senator/SOPA page.

OMG. Get over it. Stop this shit, let it be blocked for one day. Your totally missing the point over being greedy. ONE DAY. or THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

@Villain so pressing the "Esc" key is illegal or unethical, and browsing Wikipedia via it's mobile site is ok?

your just defeating the purpose of taking a stand. And they left the mobile version unlocked on purpose, with only a black banner on it for the Stop SOPA. So yes, you could play along for one day.

But seriously, think about how much your internet lifestyle would be impacted if SOPA passed... With as many self-admitted pirates as we have here on this forum, you may end up closing down WM. Do you want that? I am not saying .. for right now .. stop pirating, just help make the law less vague so that Big Companies can not ruin the internet.

Ahhhh.... S.O.P.A. (Sucking On Pen!$ Always) bill. Yea I heard of it. The bill sucks. It's our government and they can do what they want. Like it or not.

This is no different from what happened to CZ.CC. They have the power to shut your shit down whenever they feel like it and you can't do nothing, but protest. It starts small and people don't care, but when the majority gets hit, then you see people crying about it.

Even if they pass it, the people will find a way.

Why have you got links in your sig that get flagged on ESET? Specifically SageNote. Is that because it's cz.cc?

Yes. Our community is now focusing on UNI.ME ( http://www.uni.me ), but still pushing CZ.CC sites. Screw ESET! They just blacklisted every domain ending in cz.cc without reason. CZ.CC is still being blacklisted by many, even when Microsoft is over seeing the security now as a partner. I had no choice but to move back to a .com for my sites to be seen. I was in the Apple store one time and tried to see my .cz.cc sites and Safari blocked my sites from being viewed. I seriously couldn't do anything to view them. If the S.O.P.A. bill is passed, people will know what it feels like to be silenced and fucked with for no reason. It's not a good feeling.

Now: You > Internet
S.O.P.A.: You < Government's Internet
