While most of the users were focusing on the development of Windows 8 client build, Microsoft was quietly setting up the next generation of Windows Server. Codenamed “Windows Server 8″, the Redmond giant claims the this is a bigger upgrade than its desktop cousin.

Today, Winunleaked.tk revealed some screenshots of the server build, comparing the released Developer Preview and the latest internal build from Microsoft.

According to the site, Microsoft is now implementing two separate codes for the client and the server build removing some items from the latter like the Immersive or Metro PC Settings,Windows to Go, wallpaper packs, aero cursors, and others not needed for a Server.

Ouch....
"That Start Button Really Hurts Me.. " - Something like this the OS would be saying for now... :P

But really bad button. Overall good effort but not visually appealing...

I would rather prefer to keep Win7, Rainmeter & Omnimo. Atleast that's visually appealing far better than this.. :|

Well, this is where you are wrong. That Windows 8 button is the worst button i have ever seen. Its alot worse then the Windows Classic startbutton, that button i like for sure! =] I sometimes use Windows Classic VS on my PC because its minimalistic and very simple! :D

these leaks should never get out to the public, people are all going to be outraged at an unfinished product, like even in this thread, where people are discussing about the start button when it will most probably change.

its up to them if they want to react on such small things (like the start button). I just want to share the latest update on the software.

*Start button will remain the same, its the taskbar that will change.
