Could you be so kind to let me know which version of ubuntu u are using i have 11.10 and i would like to move ( as is in windows-taksbar as you ahve it here ) from my right side of the scrren as is now on my pc as you have here in this pic on horizontal

Rocking ArchBang on the laptop... very laptop memory friendly! My fav Linux distro so far.
ADeskBar at the bottom, configured to be a full bar instead of a dock.

I am using 11.10 version of Ubuntu, here is a link where you can customize Ubuntu like I did. [LINK] And I am using Marlin instead of Nautilus. To install Marlin click here. Hope this information can help you.

My ArchBang laptop, but with Razor-QT as the desktop enviroment. Razor-qt is pretty much a very KDE3 Lite DE.

Anyway, a bit more tweaking to the OS and techs and i am making an ISO for download. Keep in mind, the type will be 64bit as thats what my laptop is. 32 bit may come soon after.

Yes, in the PC world, this is backwards. Oh well.

Anyway, the default filemanager for both DE's is Marlin, aka, the newer, better Nautilus-elementry. It is very nice, fast... even just as fast as PCfileman. No real graphics apps yes (No Gimp), just image viewers.

Anyway, i am looking for some suggestions for included apps. Granted, keep in mind, i dont know the size of the distro yet, but i am going to limit it, or try my best, to 300Mb.

Anyway, two DE's will be OpenBox with ADeskBar, and OpenBox with Razor-qt.

Please post light-weight app suggestions if you feel like helping me out!

The model is Wang Xin Yi and I got this wallpaper from google image search. Link to the wallpaper here. but what I have used was a bigger resolution, though I cannot find it anymore on the web
