I plan working on different startup ways as soon as 0.3 is out
Planned are
- exe launch activation (or shortcuts for that matter)
- hot corners
- multitouch gestures
- synaptics multitouchpad support
-...

If anyone has some more ideas please share them

can i suggest for the next version?
-can u make the folder function also have the folder in it just like the dock function i hope u can understand it

could you be more specific
from what i understand u either mean multidimensional folders(folder in folder in folder etc.) or
a Dock like in Mac OS

sorry iam not english but i will try.
yeap the multidimensional folders.
and the second suggestion make that can drag the folder in winlaunch or shortcut folder function in winlaunch
For example, i can drag my music folder in this winlaunch or right click add shortcut folder.

windows folders can already be dragged in to create a shortcut?

maybe it use aero ?


could you change right click to scroll thru pages, with left click it will be better i think.

could you add file preview instead of icon for bitmap for example ? ( and videos, text,... :-) )
(for example, right click on item show a menu to choose "file preview yes/no"... and rename, and even : choose another icon)

your right xp is not supported right now, sorry for that.

I currently have no plans for changing the scrolling behavior,
file preview sounds like a good idea though
i added it to the list

context menus will be available in the 0.4 update.

Loving your app, I think it's definitely the best Launchpad clone I've seen so far on Windows.

Couple of requests/ideas.

1) Make it installable
2) If not installable then have a config file that we can edit
3) I have 2 monitors and the smaller one (the wrong one) is being used by default, could this be configurable (with or without a config file)?
4) Would it be possible to have a status icon in the system tray as it seems to be too easy to close the program at the moment or possibly add an option to add a windows service for the program so it can run in the background?
5) You might want to change the wallpaper of the folders, it's too close to Apple's and they are so litigious
6) Love the fade/zoom intro but there's no matching outro, will this be added? If so will you be adding different effects, such as zoom from top/bottom/middle or zooming from any choice of corner?
7) Have you tested the app with touchscreens? I think it would be very nice for them, specially on Windows 8
8) Auto-Scale the icon size so they fit on the screen from left to right, or have a grid where we can choose where each icon goes, shown with dotted frames. As you can see the icons don't all fit on screen at the moment:

P.S. Some folks might like to get the full Apple-like effect by using this custopacktools theme, I'd recommend it, here's what it looks like (I'm not on my laptop just now or I'd do a screenshot with both) :

3) wait for the next Beta release (multi-screen support is planned to be integrated in 0.4)
4) tray icon seems like a good idea (added).
5) i'm not making any profit and i created the bg on my own...
but it will be customizable in future versions.

at what resolution are you running it?
does it look like that all the time?

Another suggestion, add an option to choose another icon for any shortcut.

I think this app might be something which Stardock might be interested in if you get it right!
