They keep coming out with new ways to try Ubuntu and quite frankly it's all getting a bit much now.

I disagree. This is awesome. Ubuntu is a great OS and this just raises the bar.

This is hardly an original idea from Ubuntu though.

Didn't Microsoft do this with Vista?

No. You had to have a certain Windows OS to view testdrive.

why do think Ubuntu is a free for all ..because no one would pay for it :D

I dont like Unity... -.- its so locked up, you cant modify anything anymore. The themes (VS) are only two now and two high contrast. And the top panel is no more modifiable.. and when i tried 11.10 in VMWare, the snapping windows did not function as it did in previous versions of Ubuntu Unity. I still prefer Gnome 2 before Unity and Gnome 3 is out of the question, it can go and die.
