March 12, 2012 is the date when Windows 8 Developer Preview Build 8102 Milestone 3 (M3) will expire!

It means we testers only have about half a year to play with the Windows 8 Developer Preview.

The date is an indication that users will already have a new pre-release Build of Windows 8 to play with ahead of March 12, 2012. It may be the Release Candidate (RC)... or final version? ;)

Anyone knows what will happen on that date? Will it lock down?

Don't mind the date because we can get a BETA before it expires

Everyone knows all along that it will expire.

I agree with you guys. Beta would be available for download by either Christmas or the end of this year.
