When he said "I have won" he means that MS is taking Linux (the kernel) as a competitor. MS once commented, i believe, that Linux was nothing more that a hobby os, and, as such, was not a threat to Windows. Thats me going from memory, and paraphrasing, but yes, MS now views Linux as competition. Even though the apps are for the Android OS, not specifically for the Linux Kernel itself.Microsoft makes apps for iOS, is doesn't mean Apple won.
Seriously what the hell is this nonsence?

I think I see where he is coming from. To have a big corporation like Microsoft to build apps to run on something you made is huge. The same goes for Apple and Microsoft. Especially, if the corporation is a competitor.

Linux can never beat Microsoft!
They already have. If you have at least one dedicated user, then you have beat Microsoft at something they couldn't provided to that one user. In Linux case, they have millions.
Not saying Microsoft sucks or anything, but Linux is not small anymore. Those days are over.

I find so many more options and at a much cheaper price then other tablets?
Yes Apple is a great product and it works well with other apple products, but you have to drop $10k on apple products to get the functionality out of an ipad that you can from a single android tablet, with any setup.

Yes Apple is a great product and it works well with other apple products, but you have to drop $10k on apple products to get the functionality out of an ipad that you can from a single android tablet, with any setup.
I find google annoying sometimes. They're not in the mobile space with android to provide the best possible user experinece...I mean come on, Android is free...Google doesn't make money out of it at all.
Google's in the mobile space to get a large user base so that they can use it as an attractive ad platform for businesses and so on, and that is how they make money.
Seriously...android...
