Since Windows Vista and now in Windows 7 every time you need to change balance level you have to:

• Open system volume mixer
  
• Click on device icon
  
• Click on "Levels" tab
  
• Click on "Balance" button.

Too much for me. My last application SimpleSndVol solves it with one click.


SimpleSndVol is volume control application what provides EASY access to balance level (and it was my primary goal).
The main features are:
- Easy access to balance. Note what labels "L,0,R" are clickable.
- Global hotkeys for volume level contol.
- Middle click on tray icon to mute sound.
- Themes for tray icons. You can add own theme, just put five icons in "C:\Program Files (x86)\SimpleSndVol\Themes\Your Theme" folder. See any included theme for best example. Default theme is Vista's one. Windows 7 theme is included. I'm not the author of any icons.

When your locale is ru-RU, application will be in russian, otherwise it will have English language of UI.

Very interesting. However, i just use the default slider. But I am continually adjusting it. I might use this. If you could implement volume leveling, that woud be great, and everyone would use it then!

I glad to introduce second version of SimpleSndVol.
This is a very important, major update. Lots of bugs was fixed, was added possibility to add application to startup.
Now it allows to to use Mouse Wheel to change volume. Hover tray icon and scroll up or down. Very useful.



Also SimpleSndVol v2 featured with new themes: they are more sensitive and consists of 12 icons. Themes from older versions will not work.



You can create own icon theme, just create folder
C:\Program files\SimpleSndVol\Themes\My Theme and put 12 icons inside.
Meaning and filenames:
icon00.ico - sound volume smaller than 5%.
icon10.ico - sound volume between 5% & 10%.
icon20.ico - sound volume between 10% & 20%.
icon30.ico - sound volume between 20% & 30%.
icon40.ico - sound volume between 30% & 40%.
icon50.ico - sound volume between 40% & 50%.
icon60.ico - sound volume between 50% & 60%.
icon70.ico - sound volume between 60% & 70%.
icon80.ico - sound volume between 70% & 80%.
icon90.ico - sound volume between 80% & 90%.
icon100.ico - sound volume greater than 90%.
iconm.ico - sound volume muted.

My buddy "PainteR" has created cool themes for SimpleSndVol. Take a look:

All of them was included in setup. You can re-download SimpleSndVol to have them.

If you made theme for SimpleSndVol and want to see it in setup, you can upload it somewhere and post link here, i will include it in setup.
