MS-DOS 1981-2000
The basis of most Windows operating systems, whether integrated operating system foundation (Windows 1-3) or (Windows 95-ME). Only the versions of NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and later come from without. It is a purely text-based operating system without the GUI. All commands must be typed. For example, "time" for time setting "md" for folder creation. The latest version of Microsoft DOS is the integrated 8.x. The last real DOS version, which was to buy it was 6.22 (from 1994).

The first version, 1.0, was delivered in August 1981 (!).
