Does anyone know where I can buy a PC with Gnome on it? Or a Gnome PC.

My second question is what is a good PC for $400(-) and below?

1. Gnome is just a GUI for Linux, not an operating system (unless that's what you mean, then just install Gnome on a linux box)

2. I don't think there is a 'decent' PC for under $400 (check Dell?). I believe you can get an eMachines for around the $500 range.

1> i LOVE all things Linux, but why Gnome, or even Gnome2? Use KDE 3.x

2> http://www.aolpc.com get there machine, pay for a year (but never use the service) and there you go, a decent machine for less that or about $300

I take it that you've never really used Panther or Linux for a good period of time?
