Hopefully Mac will be included in the new forum, because it is really a certified Unix. You may ask, why not call it MacMatrix? There is far more distros of Linux than Mac. If nothing else, if you want to get technical about it, it should be called OSMatrix. Just have and Windows stuff auto-link to WinMatrix.How long before MacMatrix is demanded?

So that means that it is POSIX compliant, and would fit under the LM branch. Mac has a terminal, it's own X11, and you can even install GNOME and KDE(3/4) on to it. If that does not qualify it for being in the LM forum... then hell, lets just drop the Mac support. This is for LinMatrix, not the mac, if push comes to shove. (and I hope it does not)Villain, OS X is a certified unix, NOT a Linux distro.
Mactrix seems nice.

Anyway I support LinMatrix as well an Apple-Only forum to talk about the customization of not only macs but iPads for example, etc.
Good work everyone.
See, i think that in LM that Mac (Apple, really) needs it's own section, not a whole forum. I agree on the sub-sections... iPad, iPhone, etc... I mean, once you jailbreak the iDevice, you can install the terminal and have serious fun.
Anyway, As for when this will become a reality... all that we can do is wait on word form Jatin. He wants us to keep this thread going with ideas and sections.

There are Tons of Windows websites and forums, and also a lot of Linux sites also, and the same for Mac sites... does not mean that we cant make one more. Who knows, ours might be more popular. No one says that there can be only one... well, unless your the Highlander.There's already a Mac customization forum.
