Thanks to NullHead @ Ubuntu forum,
If you want the Wubi installer click here -> Ubuntu 10.10 Wubi

Wubi is an officially supported Ubuntu installer for Windows users. It can install and uninstall Ubuntu in the same way as any other Windows application. It's simple and safe.

Looks like the Netbook edition ripped the tile icons from Win7.

I started downloading it yesterday, I'm burning and putting it on my laptop today :D I'm hoping they fixed the obnoxious bugs they had in 10.04

I do too. I'm soooo glad they went further with redesigning everything. It makes it more enjoyable to use and work on.

From the get go, I noticed a lot of fixes. The main thing I want fixed is the FTP speed with Nautilus. They need to pull one from Filezilla's book.

Google Chrome makes web browsing a lot better compared to Firefox so far.

Did they integrate the recently opensourced Broadcom drivers yet? If not, then I'm gonna have to hold off on this update until I can plug in my modem.

So much for Ubuntu use. Didn't feel good today knowing that using gEdit, Geany, Quanta and even Bluefish to work and save files over FTP would erase my work or even save it messed up causing my site to fail. Not good Ubuntu especially when it's a LIVE site that people pay to use. I'm sticking with Windows until a fix is released. I didn't expect this to happen on Linux, but after the 50th time, I had to remove Ubuntu off my work laptop.

@ Yanike: probably not a good idea to use the latest release (of any os) immediately after release for business. But I understand that it is tempting :)

I was thinking that but 10.04 was just as worse that's why I switched. The last actual build that was very stable to me was 8.10. If they fix this issues soon for 10.10 I will be moving back to Ubuntu. Until then it's Dreamweaver and Notepad++ on Windows 7. I love how notepad++ does FTP editing.

Did they change anything else since 10.04?
IMO Firefox is also quite fast on Ubuntu, of course not as fast as Chrome.

i dont like that they put the min/max/close button on the left side like a mac.

You can change that with a small script that I don't remember :)

True that, many an update have broken stuff for people (on ubuntu)

What's your PC config that it doesn't run stable for you? Notepad++ ... man it's the holy grail of text editing. The only think I don't know how to use on it are multiline regular expressions, they should've made it as easy as Programmer's notepad does it. Is that feature in there or not?

You need something on the lines like XEmacs(Free) [Read], PilotEdit (Free) or UltraEdit ($59.95).

But I already use Programmer's Notepad for multi-line regular expressions, I was asking if the feature was present in Notepad++ because I couldn't find it. The \r\n don't work while using Regex in the CTRL+F box and the other CTRL+R box, I can't understand.

The issue actually wasn't Ubuntu. It was the applications opening up files with Unicode errors with no notifications to let me know. When I worked on them and saved the files, the files ended up corrupted. I'm back using Ubuntu 10.10 now with Kate editor for FTP editing :) Notepad++ works great under wine as well.

@Afzal,
You can use the Python plugin [read here].
