I'm in love with this user interface.
I do too. I'm soooo glad they went further with redesigning everything. It makes it more enjoyable to use and work on.
From the get go, I noticed a lot of fixes. The main thing I want fixed is the FTP speed with Nautilus. They need to pull one from Filezilla's book.
Google Chrome makes web browsing a lot better compared to Firefox so far.
Did they change anything else since 10.04?
IMO Firefox is also quite fast on Ubuntu, of course not as fast as Chrome.
i dont like that they put the min/max/close button on the left side like a mac.
You can change that with a small script that I don't remember

@ Yanike: probably not a good idea to use the latest release (of any os) immediately after release for business. But I understand that it is tempting
True that, many an update have broken stuff for people (on ubuntu)

I was thinking that but 10.04 was just as worse that's why I switched. The last actual build that was very stable to me was 8.10. If they fix this issues soon for 10.10 I will be moving back to Ubuntu. Until then it's Dreamweaver and Notepad++ on Windows 7. I love how notepad++ does FTP editing.
What's your PC config that it doesn't run stable for you? Notepad++ ... man it's the holy grail of text editing. The only think I don't know how to use on it are multiline regular expressions, they should've made it as easy as Programmer's notepad does it. Is that feature in there or not?
