Grooveshark v1.1.1
I created this application for windows because i cant find one, and i dont like to first open web browser then open groove shark. Through this application you can use groove shark as you are using any other media player. Developed it for personal use but decided to share it. Hope you like it. If you find any errors or want any feature then tell me, I will try to add it.

- Ugly adds removed
- Application version number removed from the title bar and now you can see version number in about dialogue by clicking "i" button
- Added Back and Forward (??) buttons

Thanks all you guys for liking this...and those who are having some problems I wanna say sorry to you guys that I can't fix these problems because I discontinued its development...there are many reasons for discontinuation ... I don't have time...and my monitor supports the most highest resolution of 1280x768 which is low as compared to new ones so I cannot test this software on higher resolution than this...hope you guys understand me...I may come up with new version but I don't promise...

Tread lightly with this i'm not sure how likely they are to send out a cease and desist.

Does this use Adobe Air?


EDIT: Just used it works good. Only problem is that the window doesn't scale for full screen use.

yeah its like spotify actually its a website i just created its desktop application...its better than spotify because its region free and you can upload custom music.

Okay just to make this clear, grooveshark already has this sort of application but it is only avalable for VIP members, aka if you like grooveshark pay for it, it's 30 dollars for a year, and you get the application. And yes if the developers do notice this you will most likely get a ease and desist from them.
Grooveshark is great, worth paying for.

Note: spotify charges 15 dollars a month.

Ah, awesome, thanks for the information and the new version. hope the developers wont get ya. That would be so sad, well.. you just use their own website.. so they should not have anything to complain about really.

Btw: is it possible that you could add atleast an backward button? xD Its annoying that you have to start all over while you go into an album and have to go back to home and such?

It's great that you did this because I got to use the VIP client when they gave away a free 30 day trial and it is literally the same exact thing here.

They simply loaded the webpage in a little boxed application I was like what the hell.

Also to those who don't know.
Grooveshark is a website that lets you search for songs and listen to them for free as much as you want. Sort of like a free legal version of limewire without the downloading.

thanks for liking this app...I had not modiifed their website so I think its all legal...but from now i am going one step further and I am working on next version..in which I managed to disable grooveshark ugly adds(which may be illegal)... so in next release you won't see any adds...and I noted your feature request and will include it in next release.

First unistall the previous version then install this.
