In my openion Windows XP Home edition is quite ideal for a home user where as many a people are wasting a lot of money in purchasing Windows XP Pro for their home PCs.
Correct me if i'm wrong

Which edition you are using?

Pro because I'm working on asp websites (unfortunately...) so I need IIS to be installed so I can test locally on my computer. It's the only reason why I am using WinXP Pro.

Windows XP Pro looks more "solid" to me, and it is, for sure more secure than Home Edition when talking about networking and the Internet (in some aspects). But there still is a lot of work for M$, and I hope that Longhorn will not disappoint me when it will be RTM.
