Domicile by YeoWorks

OK. It's been awhile since I've posted, because I've been busy developing and working. Also, I've been secretly developing an All-In-One Client. This project is going to take off from the old project here! This project will not be only for Yahoo! like the first one. I'm taking the time to build an POP/IMAP mail, All-In-One Chat and more into it. This way you can use the client and not have to worry about creating another email account.

Here's the preview of the new YeoWorks Domicile :)

I had a video, but deleted it. I will make another one once more is complete. YeoWorks Reference, YeoWorks Calculator and others is now a part of the project.

I will be looking for testers soon to secretly test this project.

I'm still debating about adopting the old look. Also, most the features from the last project are going to make their way into this one.

Features like:

Organized Browsing (formally known as Catergory Browsing) - Taking tabbed browsing to the next level. Ever wanted to have a seperate tab browser window for games, searches, school and etc...
Now you can Explore the world wide web and stay organized.

and more...

Kind of. It's more like AOL and MSN Premium's style, but with more freedom.

I'm changing my focus on my Windows applications. Instead of releasing them stand alone, I'm going to include them all in this client. So, expect a lot of applications to show up in the client. Also, Techlution will be apart of the client as well. I've already added it and others.

The only application that won't be in the client is Windows App Center.

Sometime in 2010. Testers will get it first and help with suggesting and reporting bugs. Just like AOL does their testings, but mine won't be public.

Nice work Yanike! If someone dares giving you non-constructive criticism this time, give him hell!

I can't really say anything at this time because I don't know how it functions. And since it's in pre-testing stage, I won't comment on the graphics of it. However, it does look simple and Office 2007-inspired. Looking forward to the video though. :)

Here's another screenshot of Domicile and a sneak peek at the other projects in development built-in :)

I am keeping everything under-wraps. Testers will get to know all that's going on. I will be looking for testers soon.

yanike,
I dont like that bright blue look you have, I hope you offer more color options and if not at least go with a dark gray, brushed metal or a sleek black look

I was actually thinking about rolling with the gray look like apple's with a custom window UI on the mdi windows. I'm still trying different looks. Themes are in the plaining, but I'm focusing more on getting the features working on Domicile, Techlution and the others than the than the look right now.

I'm going to keep it at 2 colors right now. I'll add more when it comes time for testers to beta test.

Colors are "Pad Gray" and "Blue Shine".

I might later. Both the graphics are different. One is Macish and the other is Aeroish. Can't really tell from the video. I need to start using that other online video service. I'm going to add more themes later and maybe a hue for each one. It's going to take a lot of time to retheme everything (buttons, frames, backgrounds, etc..), so I'm not going to focus on just looks. Kind of why Apple sticks with one theme to make their products function better and look great.

I still might just use one awesome overall theme and make it look great.

This is what the theme selector looks like from the drop down, which I've updated since the video.

The new site is almost finished :)

You can go and see it here -> YeoWorks.com

I had to get rid of the flash, because Google wasn't picking up on the text and they refused to give me advertisements with a site that's one page and fully flash.
