Adding applets: The changes made here were cosmetic. The scrolling looks nicer and the information about the applets being displayed is more detailed.

KRunner like YaKuake: Now we can configure it in the way that it’s displayed not in the centre of the screen but shows up in an elegant way at the top of the screen.

Animated Oxygen: Now the window decoration of Oxygen has all the items animated, making it seem more lively. The effects are delicate and it a good taste.

Grouping windows: Now we can put together many windows into one and switch between them using the tabs located in the window title.

Other changes: The module responsible for configuring the mouse actions have been finally cleared up, and the window with System settings got the tooltips.

Yes, that is the default KDE theme.

If you notice, the last icon on the right hand side of the panel will allow you to change the panel properties, including the size. It's very easy to change its size.

I installed and I'm running, I love it :)

I'm just having trouble since I'm a linux noob:
can you help me install chromium and banshee?

EDIT:

I figured out how to install banshee and firefox, now I have media problems.

it's a pain to add my media to banshee through the windows partition

pain as in the files won't load after startup(i get this problem using Rhythmbox)? if that the case you could use ntfs configuration tool and configure the partition to load automatically load at startup..

btw, the new KDE looks awesome but i still hate KDE theme(looks pretty ugly to me compared to ubuntu but i love its panel, wished it can be ported to ubuntu  )

^lol.. you didn't need to do that, i assumed you didn't read my post.. you need to download "ntfs configuration tool" so that windows partition will load automatically at startup.. that way, the mp3 files will be ready every time you want and not missing from the media player list.. so there's no need to duplicate your mp3 files..(i assumed you're running kubuntu)
