I was using the wonderful japanese freeware StyleSelector to use custom styles in Vista and more importantly to me to override the default style font to "Tahoma 8 pt". But this great piece of software doesnt work in 7 and as its home page as disappeared long time ago I'm afraid it will never be updated to support Windows 7.

Is there any other way to substitute the Aero system font from Segoe UI 9t to Tahoma 8 pt?
I know I can use a system font substitution this is not really what I'd prefer, I just want to change the UI font, not replace Segoe UI altogether, and also with that solution, correct me if I'm wrong, I'll end up with Tahoma 9 pt which is not what I want (yes, I'm one of those freaks that love Tahoma 8 pt look and no, I'm not going to go back to XP or use Windows Classic, I actually like Aero ;-)
I suppose you could edit the theme dll or something, but I'm not sure how to do that and if it will work (will 7 accept the modded theme dll without complains?).
Any suggestions appreciated.

BTW Hello everybody! I didnt notice its my first post here, even though I joined so long ago...

Well, there is an easy way.

But it takes a little time.

Right click on your desktop. Go to Personalize. Click on Window Color. Then click on Advance Appearance Settings.

And then click on the image where the texts are and change the fonts to Tahoma and font size to 8 pt.

Thanks for the suggestion but that doesnt change all of the style's elements.
I'm looking for something like StyleSelector that will let you substitute the style's font choices, I suppose it doesnt exist for Windows 7?
If I wanted to edit the style how would I proceed?

Maybe but I would like to avoid WindowsBlinds if posible.
I'm guessing I would have end up editing the msstyle, if nobody did that before?
