What is this?
VistaSwitcher is an elegant and powerful task management utility for Windows OS. Once installed, it replaces the default Windows Alt-Tab dialog with a nice box that shows a list of all running tasks with their names and preview snapshots and enables the user to take actions on them using the mouse and keyboard shortcuts. With just one click, you can switch to a task, minimize, maximize, restore the main window or close the process.

How to use?
Start VistaSwitcher, press Alt+Tab to show the list of all open windows on the desktop, press Ctrl+Alt+Tab to show the list of windows of the foreground application.
You can go through the tasks by holding the Alt key down and pressing Tab, or pressing the Up and Down Arrow keys, or moving the mouse pointer up or down the list.

System Requirements
VistaSwitcher runs under Windows XP/Vista and 7. There is also a native 64-bit version available for download.

Very nice find thanks, btw i use TaskSwitchXp (a great replacement for XP's Alt+Tab Powertoy) to enable Alt+Tab thumbnail preview especially on XP but i'd like to give it a try (Y) :D

2 problems that i see:
1. memory leaks
2. if you hit alt-tab a second time it doesnt allow you to switch back to the previous app...it only scrolls down the list of apps each time you hit alt-tab and hence doesnt really replicate the alt-tab functionality.

Other than that it feels smooth and looks great! keep it up!

Very nice, I just installed on my computer and so far I am having a great time using it although I was not a good fan of the alt-tab shortcut.

Really nice! Vista Flip 3D is too much eye candy and less useful.
