Can I install a "language pack" in Windows 7 Professional?

i have the windows 7 professional in "english", but i want it in spanish!
Can i install a language pack? or it only works in Ultimate version?

(sorry for mi english)

There are language packs for Windows 7 Professional.

Anyone who has MSDN should be able to get it for you.

Can you install languages pack on home premium too ? or its like in vista ?

If the "Install Languages" button is present in the either editions, it's possible

its in Control Panel > Regional Settings > Language

-run command prompt as administrator
-type dism /online /add-package /packagepath:driveletter\dir\lp.cab
-in regedit del key \HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MUI UILanguage\eu-us

i take that form German site (martin vogel)

it's works in windows 7 pro, pt-br

Hello!

I have already installed Windows 7, and i already have downloaded the language pack.
I try to do it likes this:
Without button, is possible too:
-run command prompt as administrator
-type dism /online /add-package /packagepath:driveletter\dir\lp.cab

I wrote:
dism/online/add-package/packagepath:g:\langpacks\nl-nl\lp.cab

But when i try to run it, i get the error 87, the online/add-package/packagepath option is unknown.

Can somebody help me please?

I put the same paths, but it shows: The system cannot find the path specified. The path is correct!!! How is it possible??

i had error 87, too, how do we cope with that?

You forgot the spaces!!!
dism"space"/online"space"/add-package"space"/packagepath:driveletter\dir\lp.cab

This is exactly how your command propmt should look like for this to work

C:\Windows\System32\dism \online \add-package \packagepath:c:/"lp/lp.cab"

change the part in the parantheses to the folders the lp.cab file is in.

finally I have my Win7 in pt-pt :P


I could use it fine in en-us but I always used windows in pt-pt.

I am stuck with the French version and I would like to switch to English, but I cannot find where to download the necessary language pack... Thank you.
