UxStyle Core 0.2.1 now released!

A new version of Uxstyle Core has been released this July 11.

-- CHANGES FROM 0.1.0.0 to 0.2.0.0

DRIVER
Load group added to ensure proper boot order
Added logging features

SERVICE
Removed xmlrpc services, no more phone-home
Load group added to ensure proper boot order
Added versioning information as per Symantec guidance
Signed binary as per Symantec guidance

INSTALLER
Added system file integrity checks to prevent concurrent "patched uxtheme" use
Administrative installs now install to current directory, vice target directory
Normal installs now properly use Windows root drive, instead of C:\
Merge modules integrated for Visual C++ 2008 runtimes
Added action to stop services if uninstalling, re-installing or applying patches

if this will start up with windows (the last version would not for me), then i will unpatch and try this again.

Based on the uxstyle's forum, if you have patched your uxtheme already with other patcher, then i won't work. There are workarounds in uxstyle forum you may visit the site for some guides.

Anyway, i just want to share you the software and I am not the owner of the software. I am just happy with the developer's works! :D

Thanks for the news, i'd still keep using Tuneup Utilities (Tuneup Styler) though (Xp / Vista), but seems this would be more useful for Windows 7 :D

I still don't understand what's the benefit of using UxStyle Core instead of using patched uxtheme.dll?

Its universal. It works on every operating system.
