My Vista, Tiger, other Leopard and Snow Leopard desktops are pretty boring (original wallpapers, no visual mods or anything), so here's my main Leopard desktop:[img=320x200]http://imgur.com/yib91.png
And my second display![img=320x200]http://imgur.com/LNgGH.png
(I don't know why the BBcode's screwed up, I followed it perfectly. IPB/WinMatrix bug?)
The desktop pics are icon files found in /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources, specifically com.apple.xserve.icns and com.apple.mac.icns respectively, and centered with an obviously light-grey background (all options found in Desktop Picture prefs). I have the left one as an Xserve because it's on my iMac's built-in monitor, and the right one as an Apple display even though (sadly) it's not.
I have nothing on my primary display but icons. (I named my iPod nano Shiny Jr. because my touch is named Shiny, FYI.) Food is where I keep everything of mine that shouldn't be on my external drive or in another folder.
On my secondary display, the time/date/weather/HDsize stuff is Stattoo
, the white text is GeekTool
, the album art (I had nothing playing, lol) is Bowtie
, the beautiful Twitter app is Bluebird
, and that yellow thing is Stickies.
Think I've explained too much? I didn't even list my menubar or Dock...
