My Vista, Tiger, other Leopard and Snow Leopard desktops are pretty boring (original wallpapers, no visual mods or anything), so here's my main Leopard desktop:

And my second display!

(I don't know why the BBcode's screwed up, I followed it perfectly. IPB/WinMatrix bug?)
The desktop pics are icon files found in /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources, specifically com.apple.xserve.icns and com.apple.mac.icns respectively, and centered with an obviously light-grey background (all options found in Desktop Picture prefs). I have the left one as an Xserve because it's on my iMac's built-in monitor, and the right one as an Apple display even though (sadly) it's not.
I have nothing on my primary display but icons. (I named my iPod nano Shiny Jr. because my touch is named Shiny, FYI.) Food is where I keep everything of mine that shouldn't be on my external drive or in another folder.
On my secondary display, the time/date/weather/HDsize stuff is
Stattoo, the white text is
GeekTool, the album art (I had nothing playing, lol) is
Bowtie, the beautiful Twitter app is
Bluebird, and that yellow thing is Stickies.
Think I've explained too much? I didn't even list my menubar or Dock...
