I have the same problem as Villain. I installed it, without restarting afterwards. Then I applied a theme and it all worked. Now I restarted today, and there isn't a service for "Unsigned Themes" so I can't start it. And I tried running the installer again, but still nothing.UxStyle implements an Unsigned Themes service. Open services.msc to see/start it. It's in your best interest to get this working as I'm not patching any more uxtheme files. This means your "patcher" will die and become obsolete soon.

"The specified service does not exist as an installed service"Are you claming that the service disappeared? Is UxStyle installed? Try sc start UnsignedThemes from the command prompt.

Yes, I have installed it. Three times now, hoping to resolve the problem. But nothing. Any help?
By the way, XP SP3.

Yes and Yes. So I fixed it by uninstalling it, then reinstalling it. That's really weird.

Does it show up in Add/Remove? Does UnsignedThemesSvc.exe exist in \Windows directory?
