New version 1.061
This a bug-fix release!

1. {fixed} When Open option dialog on Vista exception is shown
2. {fixed} When manual reposition SBar ShowDesktop button go to wrong position
3. {fixed} Sometimes when hover button or when start application Button image do not refresh
4. Other fixes

For now Know bugs are:

- On some machines there a crash with unhandled exception (when use transformation packs or modified system files)
- When Taskbar is set to Autohide there is a problem with initial positioning of SBar
- some windows are missing if you start SBar after that windows are showed

IMPORTANT! Due to the database change All user settings will be overridden! for users that have troubles or database exceptions please unrar SBarDB.rar into the user local application data folder and then run SBar!

NOTE: Some people has reported that after install new version of Sbar the taskbar buttons dissapear! Well i wrote in many post how to fix that but seems some people not read that so i post here the solution.
If you have above problem do this:
1. Go to Options dialog
2. Hit "Reset" button
3. Hit "Apply" and "OK" button
and buttons should show!

Note2: If you use somekind of transformation packs or any kind of custom system files modifications its possible to have unexpected crashes or unhadled exceptions since SBar is designed to work WITH FACTORY windows!

New version (1.060) is available!
This is generally bug-fix release!
In this release are made many bug fixes as follows:

1. {[new]}Added support for MSN Messenger
2. {[new]}Added partial support for Windows Media Player
3. {[fixed]}Pin items from recent list for Firefox not working
4. {[fixed]}On startup if there is windows open the taskbar buttons graphics not load
5. Other bugfixes

For now Know bugs are:

Note: If you use other skin than Aero7 please dont forget to copy missing images from aero7 folder to your skin folder
IMPORTANT!!! If you upgrade from release older that 1.050 then Before start Sbar after install new (1.060) version First start SBarUpdareDB.exe (attached to SBar 1.050 download page) and hit Update button!!!!!

In this release are made many bug fixes as follows:

2. Fixed unhadled exceptions
3. Fixed RecentList order
4. Fixed exception when opening option window
5. Fixed taskbar always visible no matter full screen application is started
6. Fixed buttons dissapear on return from Hibernate or after Switch User
7. Fixed blinking of taskbar buttons
8. Added blur behind all menus (Vista)
9. Added drag and drop functionality for taskbar (Drag exe over the taskbar)
10. Added mouse hover effect over the thumbnails
11. Added Exclusion List
12. Added custom taskbar button icons

For now Know bugs are:

A new version of SBar is available(1.040)! I think the app is enough stable to enter its beta state ;)

1. Improved Vista thumbnail previews
2. Improved pin to taskbar support
3. Improved drag over the button support
4. Added show desktop button just like in seven
5. Added automatic shrink of thumbnail if can not fit on to the screen
6. Added support of taskbar autohide (experimental)
7. Added run at startup support as admin (Vista)
8. Other small fixes

A new version of SBar Alpha(1.030) was released!
The new thing are:

1. Added support to pin items into the taskbar
2. New skin Aero7
3. Added more customizable skin options (skin.ini in skin folder)
4. Improved Vista compatibility
5. Separate settings for different users
6. Other small fixes

A new version was come out (1.025 Alpha)
New things are:
1. Added Vista compatibility (experimental)
2. Added Skype support (experimental)
3. Added option to turn off previews
4. Added pin support to jump lists
5. Fixed some bugs

A new version of my software was released (1.023 Alpha)
It add several new things:
1. Added compatibility with quick launch (experimental)
2. Added new skin Aero16 that support normal size taskbar buttons
3. Redesigned Options Dialog
4. more better compatibility with XP skins

It is possible to crash at startup.....it sometimes happen because for now is only compatible with Firefox 3.0 and above. Also NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is required!

Thanks for the compliments! But this is very early alpha for now! And i am sure a lot of bugs! Also the XP skin also help fo the good appearance ;)

I checked this out, and the only thing i can say is "Wow". This is really great work and will probably kill Lee`s Viglance. Is it possible to make it compatible with the quicklaunchbuttons? Would be nice. Thanks for sharing. :D

It works on Vista, even with SharpEnviro shell (no Explorer TaskBar). Sbar will be a great taskbat replacement (Win XP users will love it). ;)

If you can add the Pin Program option and make the button layered when on group instead of number, it would be great...
