Lower requirement, useful taskbar AKA superbar, and (little) GUI improvement :)

Can I vote for all of the above? :D

But my vote went to lower requirements. Windows 7 has become my preferred OS on my EEE PC netbook.

I personally don't like any of the things mentioned. Start up is actually the same speed, and it still uses the same amount of RAM and CPU as Vista did. The sidebar is a little more annoying now, and Safari and MSN stopped working.

Definitely the taskbar and windows snapping for me anyway

Wish there was a registry hack or something to get the window snapping in xp but i guess thats impossible haha :( Just don't like running uneccesary apps in the background just for one function.

Oh well 7 in a few months :)

other More New Features:

1) Windows 7 is Automatically detecting all device drivers .

2) Faster installation .

3) More easy to use and user friendly.

4) Sticky Notes

5) faster searching start menu

6) error reporting.

Faster Startup: I haven't noticed.
Superbar: Very useful
Controlled UAC: Already have it in Vista in silent mode.
Virtual XP: Why will we use XP after upgrading to 7?
GUI Improvements: Love the ribbon.
Longer Laptop Battery Life: Really better!
Libraries & Homegroups: Not interested!
Multi touch: I don't have the required hardware.
DirectX 11: There is not a single game available.
Low System Requirements: I think the requirements are same as Vista.

Windows 7 took me by complete surprise. I freaking love it so far! I have been impressed with all of the features.

Has anyone noticed/commented on the upgrade to MS Paint? Finally, job well done.

I really could come up with the resources answer.

I personally like everything about it. My Vaio Z always felt pretty good on Vista but now it just flies through everything now that it's on 7. I can't say anything for my Optiplex 755, 7 is all that I ever had on it, but she seems to run pretty good.
