I like her because she is a PC and an artist! 
Btw even you can also get a good laptop for only $1000 nowadays but yeah shes already got the pretty good one

kinda true actually. I'd love to "cut video" on a mac with 2gb of RAM. It would be so awesome. At least, more awesome than "cutting video" on Windows. And can anyone tell me what GPU that HP notebook she got has? the MacBook has a 9400M if that helps.

There's a choice between 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT or 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 130M if you configure it at the HP website.
The ones available at stores usually come with 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT.
