P.S - Sorry for the professionalism, and also for not posting the Windows Update News. As you can expect I have been busy with Windows 7, and general work.

Can we directly do an upgrade from the beta or do we need a clean install?
I don't want to reinstall my apps ...

Clean install. You'll get the best results this way.

PS: I know how you feel... ;)

This is disappointing.

The RC Build Blocks the update from beta, but there is a workaround for that:
- Download the ISO as you did previously and burn the ISO to a DVD.
- Copy the whole image to a storage location you wish to run the upgrade from (a bootable flash drive or a directory on any partition on the machine running the pre-release build).
- Browse to the sources directory.
- Open the file cversion.ini in a text editor like Notepad.
- Modify the MinClient build number to a value lower than the down-level build. For example, change 7100 to 7000 (see picture).
- Save the file in place with the same name.
- Run setup like you would normally from this modified copy of the image and the version check will be bypassed.
Taken from Softpedia.

Gonna try the RC, Downloading.....NOT! Stupid Dial-up, well guess I gotta go to a friend's house with DSL!

It's RC1.

Everyone is going to get it.
I am going to get it anyway, hopefully some performance improvements.
