As we know that Windows 7 RC will be released to public on May 5, another Windows 7 build appears on the net. A chinese Windows website PCBeta shows a new build of Windows 7, 7082 which apparently is not different from previous post beta builds we have seen so far but by seeing it minutely you will notice minor visual improvements like these taskbar buttons:

If you find any other difference then post here.

Thanks. I don't reckon we are going to see much GUI improvements and changes this late in the development stages. They will most likely trying to eliminate bugs. So downloading new builds is pointless, in my opinion.

I'll stick with 7068 until the RC is released.

the rounded taskbar buttons is a nice touch, but the start menu orb reaaaaaly is screaming for more attention and reworking to be given to it.

The active taskbar buttons has the old white style, not like the 7077 build..
I don't think that this one is newer...

Agreed!

@Endrit/Eye

The start button just looks out of place with the new superbar IMO. I know they can develop something that will fit in with the new taskbar.

1px more rounded highlighting on taskbar and smaller icons right - or it's just optical illusion :/

Just when *they* think it is ready to be released :)
And you should not *download* the RTM copy, you should *buy* it... :D
Downloading is good till the RC.

The only change of the buttons in this build from build 7077
is that the buttons when they are active they
don't have the white gradient from outside to inside. :)

I'm super straight with build 7077 :)

Also, has anyone noticed that the build tag on the bottom right gets removed by the update after you install it?

I'm loving how fast Windows 7 operates.

I still don't see what the problem with the start button is.
