Border Skin is a free portable software to skins the windows borders by skins composed of png images with the support of several aero features like Blur, Reflection and Breadcrumbs .

You should probably change the Logo, other than that; the program is great. Needs some touch-ups though

It's TrueTransparency with his version of "Blur". Glass2k only does the Taskbar, this one doesn't skin the Taskbar, only Borders

I am usuary of the TrueTransparency, the best one but with some than another occasional problem in my PC. Even so he is the best one.

Border Skin
Once unloaded and executed. It shines very cool, he is beautiful, the windows drag fine with relative smoothness with some defect during dragging or when changing of position in the writing-desk but it is not problem (also TrueTransparency). He is excellent and in my PC around consumes 6000 to 5000 kb. Wonderful!

why not just get a dA account, and host the files there? also, he will have access to a bigger target audience.
[edit] needs .net framework. so i wont download and install. dont want my virtual hdd getting to full, i have it as a fixed size.

Is blur algorithm efficient?

Please add the blur to the taskbar as well, this would cut down on programs and make your instantly the most popular. The blur is amazing and light wieght.

The application does look promising but needs some work. Following are a few things which I want to point out to make it better:

1. The bottom part of window contains an ugly background.
2. Titlebar buttons get cut-off in maximized windows.
3. Maximize button doesnt change to Restore button in maximized windows.
4. Not compatible with Adobe Photoshop, each toolbar shows all 3 titlebar buttons.

it's a beta version so i won't considered it very stable , but it hardly crashes

well it's not fully compatible because some images doesn't have the same name
but i will add a support for TrueTransparency and WindowBlinds Themes

i tried but i always get the banned page ,if any one can help me create
an account becouse it seems that my ip range is blocked in dA

I doubt that anything that uses injected hook is stable...unless You are expert in bug handling xD

makes me think of taking project metaknight in to a full app.

If I can advice something - work on something other than this - it's really boring and annoying to work those projects...at last I got such feeling after 3 weeks fight I would rather write in that time working AI...

and now interesting part:
1. Cheers Eye Pie - You know what I will say: didn't work at all XD crashed at start (believe me I have .NET)
2. Funny thing...FastAero edit: sorry for writing it with small letters- typing fast ^-^' source is available if one can find it...on the first look I can see some "technical issues" one need to face while writing this kind of software...
3. declaring a lot of unused variables (all those wm etc.) - sure very professional...assume code is same quality [if someone want check just use notepad on exe - skilled person will notice what I said]
4. Gambare (jap. do Your best!) I've always liked competition

you are right , since monitoring windows messages is very dangerous but at least i am trying to decrease the ratio of errors and crashes that may happen

i was asking about .Net Framwork version ,but since your are a VB.net C#, C++ programmer
i don't think that you will have a problem with starting a vb.net program on your computer .
at least since some one did , also i develop in VB.NET , C++
