I would accept if Apple would gave me free Mac, or at last make it available to buy OSX for Vista...

New theme doesn't seem to fit in.

Hopefully when I get ready to buy mine I can go back to silver.

But when I do get one I think Snow Leopard and Win 7 are gonna go next to each other nicely.

Both sides doing well this time around.

The theme I think you're referencing is just Quicktime's look. The Marble Interface hasn't been unveiled yet, although Quicktime might be a sign of some of the changes that will be made. ;)

If the new "Marble" interface is that of the new Quicktime, then it's a step back in my opinion, the only thing there that seems at all improved is the stacks.

I may give this a whirl if it is released on OSX86, and if i can find the right kexts for everything, but other than that, it should be a welcome upgrade to Mac users.

Marble also gets rid of those glassy blue scrollbars and replaces them with the ones they had in iTunes for Windows.

I present you marble!

I don't see anything the article that's definitive.

but speculation pointed to the adoption of the smoother iTunes-style scrollbars and a move towards a darker chrome motif for application windows alongside an inverted menubar with light text on a dark background.

The whole article reviews the new Quicktime interface and speculates that it's a sign of things to come for the "Marble" interface. However, you also have to keep in mind that it's not out of the ordinary for Apple to change stuff like title bars and scroll bars for some of their programs. Take iTunes, people thought the scroll bars were going to be in Leopard. Look at iWork 08, specifically Garage Band, it has a black title bar.

I'm not saying that elements from the new Quicktime won't be a part of Marble, but I am saying that this point of time, we don't know. All we can do is speculate, and that's all I've seen on the Tech websites is speculation. And until there is something definitive, it will be nothing more than speculation. ;)

I see the pollls have no "Other."
That's what I hate about polls. Sometimes a question doesn't completely fit to me yet other questions do. How will I vote?
