Microsoft has released Windows Demo Toolkit (WDT) which is a collection of resources that makes demoing the Windows operating system as easy as possible. You can use WDT to create engaging and reliable demos in a fraction of the time. This is the most useful tool if you want to demo Windows 7 to your subordinates or clients.

The heart of the Windows Demo Toolkit is the Foundation Suite, a deployment of Windows 7 Beta tailored specifically for use in demonstrations. The Foundation Suite uses Windows Setup to install onto your PC in minutes. The WDT Foundation Suite includes:
  • Windows 7 Beta Ultimate
  • Windows Live Wave 3
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Office 2007 Ultimate
  • Forefront Client Security
  • Sample demo content
  • Ncessary applications

WDT will be broadly available to Certified and Gold Certified Partners toward the end of April. But for now, you can download it on Microsoft Connect:

The Windows Demo Toolkit is avialble in the form of ISO image. Burn it to a DVD and install to your PC or mount it into a Virtual Machine.
