IE8 has been released (Not for Windows 7 users).

The Version no. is 8.0.6001.18702

:blink: Wow huge improvement! The interface is pretty much the same but it's more flexible now to move around the buttons. This version of internet explorer was well over due.

In the second wave IE8 will be available through Windows Update. After a few days IE8 will be installed automatically for the users whose Automatic Update is enabled and running IE6 and IE7.

So those who are fleeing away from IE would have install IE8 eventually. Conclusively this version makes IE really a better browser. ;)

My computer has ie6 before but never used it since i learned about firefox. then i got ie7, but still dont uses it.

I installed it on my laptop and the installation is fast and i find it improving from the previous version but still i stick to chrome and firefox.

The installation took 25 minutes on my notebook!
Anyways, it looks really good and renders pages fast. I think I'll play with it for a few more hours before deciding to make it my primary browser again.

What??? That's the amount of time it takes for the latest Windows 7 build to install on my notebook!

Which OS are you installing it on?
