Windows 7 cursors for Windows XP
The cursors are alpha blended and look exactly like Windows 7 cursors.
Download Aero Cursors for XP (mirror)
If you like these cursors then you would also like Mac OS X Cursors for Windows.

Posting these is almost as useful as some other guy who posted seven sounds, they're exactly the same as vista's, but the important thing is that he got it from win7...
yes they are the same but i got them from 7
So this is proof that he could retrieve the files form Seven? and in turn that could lead to getting more files from seven?

That's how ports are done (generally speaking).

I used to have the "vista" cursors but when I installed windows 7 cursor it's kinda different since no black dots be moving on the busy cursor spin wheel than windows 7. I mean it wasn't a big deal but it was kinda aggravating since your eyes is always on the screen. I was wondering if the vista cursors were always like that for xp with the black dots because no matter where I got them, there it was on the spin wheel which was always strange to me.
You have the 'beta' version of the cursors from one of the earlier builds of Vista. If you rip them off of Vista RTM or SP1 there are no black dots in the animation.
I know this cus I had the same problem.
