Hello iNitrox (AKA AlguienMX, right? hehe) thanks for your patience too and especially for registering yourself as a member here glad to see that mate :)

a. Seems It might be just an issue with the installation thanks for reporting, i thought never included it (MM add on) in the installer or?. Please open notepad, then copy and save these registry entries i.e as "fixMMerror.reg" then apply, hope this helps (you may need to run as admin)

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{CD5BBF3B-70CB-4e3e-9A74-97E8E2638F88}\Implemented Categories\{C501EDBE-9E70-11D1-9053-00C04FD9189D}]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{CD5BBF3B-70CB-4e3e-9A74-97E8E2638F88}\InprocServer32]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{CD5BBF3B-70CB-4e3e-9A74-97E8E2638F88}\ProgID]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{CD5BBF3B-70CB-4e3e-9A74-97E8E2638F88}\Programmable]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{CD5BBF3B-70CB-4e3e-9A74-97E8E2638F88}\VersionIndependentProgID]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\DXImageTransform.Microsoft.GDIPlusEffect]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\DXImageTransform.Microsoft.GDIPlusEffect.1]

b. Yes it's possible, You may just need to edit these registry entries by changing the default path ("%ProgramFiles% environment variable or C:\Program Files" by default) to wherever you wanna install them/move the entire files to your custom path (for example: "D:\Program Files 2\Windows Plus" and so on) then apply it as well:

Note some self registering files dlls may need to be re-registered manually by yourself later, but i think maybe it's not necessary since the registry entries above (edited) may include all that as well.

3. Thanks for the links since i've never tried or used any localization pack, please give me some days to "investigate" it lol before replying, or i will just PM you instead since you've already been a member here hehe good luck anyway

@dv1328 oh you're welcome mate, thanks :)

Thanks mate, I got another :woot: question about Movie Maker 2.6:

I installed Movie Maker 2.6 from Microsoft
I tried installing your Movie Maker 2.6 mod
I installed Plus! Digital DME too

All this was done in Windows 7 2600.16399, my problem is that I couldn't find a way to activate the Plus! Effects and Transition, neither in official Movie Maker 2.6 nor in your Movie Maker mod. I tried installing/uninstalling Plus! DME, but nothing else happened.

I could see that Plus! DME enables the installing of MM Plus! effects only when the official Movie Maker 2.6 release is installed, anyway, the effects never appear in the program.

Excuse me for my bad english, I hope you can undestand all this stuff :DxD

Thanks in advance.

Lol actually my English is even the worst here sorry hopefully clear  well i don't know if this works or not for you or even you already tried it before sorry, but at least you can still give it a try, it's actually simple and easy (again, not too sure though hehe, so hope it works): after installing, make sure you find a folder named "AddOnTFX" which contains both "Plus!_TransFX.dll" and "Plus!_TransFX.xml" files on C:\Program Files\Movie Maker 2.6 program folder. If it's not there then try to search/find it on your primary hard drive (i.e C: or C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files\Movie Maker either) or just download it from Here instead (you may create some folders if they don't exist), after that copy the folder with all its content to C:\Program Files\Movie Maker 2.6\Shared (again you may create it if it doesnt exist), then try to re-register the dll: Open Command Prompt and run as administartor especially in Windows Vista / Seven (Start Menu -> Command Prompt -> Right Click "Run as Administrator" im sure you know that) then type/copy paste this command (using regsvr32.exe as usual) in code box:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Movie Maker 2.6\Shared\AddOnTFX\Plus!_TransFX.dll"

Press Enter and close the CMD window. Seems that maybe you can also extract some other MM plugins that were only written for Xp MM to the same folder as above later. Anyway good luck mate.

Thanks for the Scooby-Doo dancer! Sadly only that one works. The other dancers don't work on Windows 7 after I downloaded them =( I was wondering if could you port more dancers? (eg. Master Sho-Yu) That'd help me out a LOT. Heheh :D

Can you help? I registered the PLUS! Dll but I'm getting an error when I want to use it in WMM2.1 .
The error say that I need to reinstall the PLUS! package.
