You must be knowing about 360desktop. Much has already been posted here about it. For those who have never heard about it, it is a free program for virtually increase the size of your desktop. It's not a typical virtual desktop but it will allow you to scroll your desktop horizontally.

True.
But then again, Compiz doesn't have a feature like this. (And the devs don't think it'd be a worthwhile idea... too much moving around of windows or something like that. :no: )
