Today i have been warned for 4 new updates. IdeaCom Technology Inc. - Input - IdeaCom HID Touch Screen (PS/2) was one of this but was optional. i also installed this one without knowing the function of it. my laptop is dell xps m1530. i would like to know what is that update for. after successfully installed the updates, once i reinstalled, found that my touchpad is not working. then again i installed the touchpad driver(Override) it's working back again. so now, what was that update about and if it is not for my machine how could i uninstall it. i already tried it in programs and features but didn't find this update there. help me guys plz.....
Its a Known Issue... Check this post from tech republic..

ok try updating your mouse driver you will get an error message saying driver update failed then look up about 4 sections up under HID devices you should see Ideacom Technology - Input - HID Touch Screen (PS/2) with a <!> on it when you see it there then fallow the steps above and it will get you back running
