Well,

i spent a quite few hours of searching and coding and things like that until finally i can come up with this:

The desktop:

Attached File  aeropeek_dis.jpg (128.91K)
Number of downloads: 3406

And the desktop with AeroPeek Desktop Preview:

Attached File  aeropeek_en.jpg (87.55K)
Number of downloads: 6577

And the download (installer zipped):

Here - ver0.2.2

How-to:
Click on the tray icon once: Desktop Preview becomes enabled
Click on twice and it becomes disabled.

Requirements:
- Windows XP/Vista
- .net framework 3.5

Known issue:
- Windows in compatibility mode can't be hidden - i have no idea why... :D

Expected development:
- Desktop Preview with grabbing one of the open windows which will remain visible. - Done

Edit (reason: update):

Version 0.2.2.
- now hovering the mouse behind the taskbar clock will act the same as in 7 - previews the desktop
- click the icon does the same as it is doin't currently
- and clicking on a window frame while pressing ctrl+shift will "glassify" all the open windows except the clicked one
- added how-to window (describing the 3 options above)

Try it and leave a comment!

Thanks;
GQ

I can't download the file without loging in. Upload it somewhere else.

I might not get idea and sorry to advertise, but how this differs from non-active window transparency found in Nimi!???

...after working few month - I'm getting conclusion that most of people don't even know what software is around them O____O (same for me as well ^-^')
