It's getting better :) Not getting some of the errors I had before. It still doesn't auto-detect my wireless card which I need to get to the internet and get the rest of my drivers for the D610 laptop. Great Job, Microsoft! Keep working on this to make it better and better :D

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if it is possible to update/patch/go from 6596 to 7000 without having to re-install from the beginning using the 7000 ISO image? I am dual booting 7 and XP Pro and would prefer not to go over the process once again.

If that is not possible, then that's fine.

Thank you,

No, he did an UPGRADE, you can't update an OS like that, this is not a service pack, its a new build.

You're probably right, but let's see what he's got to say.

He either did not understand what I wrote in my initial post (no idea why, it was simple English) or did not even read it.

I run build 6956 on 2 of my pc´s and it works great with some minor glitches...

My questions to all of you who has installed Build 7000 Beta 1...

Has the logonscreen changed? (I hate it and the fact that I can´t use Logon Studio Vista with it)

Is IE8 more stable than the previous build?

I have problems creating foldershortcuts on my startmenu (all programs). Is this possible in Build 7000?

Thanx in advance

Magnus, Sweden
