The ISO will be more than 3 GB and it will take approximately 20 GB harddisk space.

Any bigger and it won't fit on a DVD!

Remember when an OS install only took up 2 GB on a hard drive? Those were the days...

IMO a bigger ISO means quicker install.
They should use ALL of the space on a DVD to reduce unpacking times, thus making install slightly faster.

I think its better to wait for the official download too... That way you can get a activation key.

The webmaster must have been finalizing the webpage so that he may make the link visible when needed.

If you can wait, wait.
Its much less hassle to use a genuine key rather than crack etc...

That pic with file transfer wizard is a fake

Look at its name... Notice something...

Ok think a bit.
the build number seems real...
The date on it seems real...
But the words windows 7 beta 1 make it fake!!!

On winsupersite in a post called
"Shipping Seven, Part 5 From M3 to Beta"
Paul Thurrott says
"Microsoft has recently or will soon ship a variant of Windows 7 build 7000 as the official Beta release. Note that this isn't referred to as "Beta 1." There will only be a single Beta release of this OS, followed by a single release candidate (RC), and then the final version."

See that there is only going to be 1 beta meaning its gunna be called windows 7 beta not beta "1"

And microsoft would not make a mistake by putting beta 1

So the picture is a fake and there's the evidence
