Is there any way to enable it on an unsupported graphics card. The way to enable it on vista home doesn't work with Windows 7.

I don't think so, it's like enabling aero on vista with unsupported graphics card.
But it is possible to do it in vista with an unsupported graphics card.

Theres a reason you can't run aero, because your graphic card sucks.

I never said vista was slow- I actually like Windows 7 for its better security and low resource use. I just want to have the taskbar hovering feature and window flip feature.

sorry to say that aero will use a lot of resources and u will not experience it properly on unsupported hardware.
