4 year old Gmail is still in beta but recently released Google Chrome has reached it's goals for stability and performance so the final version (1.0.154.36) has been released!

What's new?

Better stability and performance of plug-ins (particularly video): Video and audio glitches were among the most common bugs fixed during the beta period.

Even more speed: V8 Javascript engine runs 1.4 times faster on the SunSpider benchmark and 1.5 times faster on the V8 benchmark

Bookmark manager and privacy controls: It's now easier to switch between another browser and Google Chrome with the bookmark import and export features, and they added a new simple way to manage large numbers of bookmarks, too.

You forgot 1 thing: 1.0 isn't any different from the latest dev release (4.0.x) except for the fact that they took out the Hotmail fix.
They said its hasn't been tested enough for public use.

Also people who used the Dev patch will have to redownload/remove patch to get 1.0.

Have they released any version for other operating systems?

It does look a bit better, but it still lacks a few features.

Does it have Alexa or Google page rating tools?

edit: NM. been digging around and found GC doesn't have those tools as add ons, only third party programs.

Hotmail is pretty nice since the Live update that recently happened.

I find myself using it as much as Gmail now.

Chrome uses a proprietary skin. You can however use 3rd party themes by replacing the default.dll found in the themes directory with the modded one.

note* If you update chrome after changing the dll to a 3rd party one, the default chrome skin will overwrite your 3rd party one.

Clcik here for some chrome themes

His problem is that chrome crashes if used with Windowblinds, not skin.
