I am sorry but I think the Xbox 360 is the worst console ever made and I will tell you why this is, basically this is what happen in the last 3 years of having a rubbish Microsoft product:-
1. firstly you get the red ring of death, you then have to ring costumer support for Microsoft which they hardly even speak English sometimes cant even understand you and they even shout at you sometimes and the worse thing about it is that they do not have a complaints department.

2. Yes it’s a miracle I you have gotten through to them and finally they say you console will be repaired. 1 week later a box comes for you to put in the Xbox 360 in, about 3-5 days later they come and pick it up from you, 2 weeks later from that it has finally been repaired and returned to you from somewhere down south of England.

3. Yes the Xbox 360 is cheaper than the PS3 but you are not adding up the accessorises which do not come with the Xbox 360 for an example, I bought 3 official play and charge kits £20 ea and 6 months down the line they all stopped working. The play and charge kit for PS3 comes with the console, this is just one of many things which you will have to buy with the Xbox 360. By time you have added up all the extra stuff which you have to buy for the Xbox 360 it will come out more than a PS3. But I think we are forgetting one of the main points here and that is you have to buy your HD drive separate for the Xbox 360 but with the PS3 it comes with it that is one of the main reasons why PS3 is more expensive. You also have to pay for your Xbox live but with Sony you don’t.

4. Blue Ray has now kicked off so why would people want HD, Blue Ray is far better Quality. To buy a Blue Ray player costs a minimum of £170 but a PS3 for about £250.
So technically you are getting you PS3 for about £80 with the extra accessories but this is dependent on how much space on your hard drive you want - the bigger hard drive the more it costs but I don’t see why 40 GB isn’t enough it is more than the 20gb which Microsoft is offering. Yes Microsoft does a 60 GB hard drive but Sony does a 160 GB. Not to mention that PS3 has built in Wifi.

Don’t get me wrong I used to be an Xbox 360 fan but I think that they do not care about their costumers at all for how they treat us. I know for a fact that Xbox 360 does have a few more better games than the PS3, but why is that, the reason behind this is that Xbox 360 came out first so obviously they will dominate the market. Sony should have brought their console out before Microsoft and they would have been the best console out for an example the PS2 dominated over Xbox that is why Microsoft rushed there console fast hence the red ring of Death and all the other problems that come with it.

I suppose you get what you payed for.

I think Microsoft should stick to Computers and leave the console world to the professionals.[u]

That's weird..cos hardware-wise PS3 is better, but then that probably explains some audio-video reviews where people commented as a blu-ray player it wasn't that good

Two things:

You should enable multiple choice I have all of the above.

The two consoles should be compaired at their higest resolution then both at 720p (the 360 cannot go to 1080) as most graphics comparasins have the ps3 on 480i because it is frowned upon (on youtube i notice). Just my two sense.

No I think these are very useful. Looks at the MC vs DC screenshots, PS3 has dull graphics and in Fallout 3 the water reflection is gone!

PS3 hardware is better but after more than 2 years, PS3 still lacks in graphics! I know PS3 is "future proof" but right now I'll go for Xbox 360.

Its because of the settings, you can set the PS3 to FULL HDMI, it makes it alot brighter and improves the graphics abit, also i garantuee you that the PS3 screenshots are NOT on a FULL HD TV, making it unfair because it does not show its true potentual.

Um yeah very true...UNCHARTED 2, HEAVY RAIN, GRAN TURISMO 5, KILLZONE 2, METAL GEAR SOLID 4 > any Xbox exclusive..thats why 3 ps3 exclusives have won game of the year for the last 3 years.

This thread is like over a year old. THe devs learned how to take advantage of the PS3's tech. THats why Uncharted is completely seamless and is absolutely gorgeous.

Also, we solved the graphics agruement awhile ago and here's the results:
PC > PS3 > nes > Xbox 360
