Thx guys for all nice comments here, it's very nice to know that they can be useful for us (also full credits to the original authors of the apps/tools), i promise i will also update the thread soon if a new good stuff or more already available, anytime...hopefully not long . PS: to everybody, If you already know about any other app/tools for Xp to Windows 7 transformation, if you don't mind then please also share/post about it/them here (or as a separated thread if you wish) so we/people can also know about it/them earlier too. Again, thx alot

Sorry everybody first i have to say, i beg your pardon, not mean to bump this thread but since i have recently updated it by adding some more informations and links that based on some new Windows 7 apps and features that can be applied on Xp (even some on Vista) as well (original Microsoft tools), thx to our friend Blake Handler. Yeah i hope they can be useful for us at least just for your information, anyways..... For "integrity and continuity" reasons, please read the entire topic/my first post again (already included). (Full Credits and Thanks alot to Blake Handler from Windows Live Space for them): (Btw, some of them and also other ones might already be included on the previous list or the other ones are more completely on "List of Most Vista Applications and Features for Xp", e.g Internet Explorer 8, Windows Search 4.0, XPS Viewer and Support, Windows 7 Gabriola TTF font, Windows 7 Desktop Slide Show for Xp and so on..., but might repeat them again here. - Clear Type Tuner: makes it easier to read text on your screen by installing ClearType technology in the Control Panel just like Windows 7.

is there anyway to get the slideshow to be saved with the .theme file like it does in windows 7?
would be cool if it were possible.

, it uses image files for desktop slide show only, but without saving the theme setting
