Actually, you kind of have a point. this is why i did an Open RC of Wordpad 2009. others have found some interesting bugs, and i credit them, and fix them.

honestly, doing an open RC and Beta is better. whoa. we do agree. scary.

You do know that you can use a Vista RC1 key and it activates, legally.

Its put on purpose so more can use it.

Microsoft purposely leaks their builds, so that they can receive more feedback.

If they wouldn't, it would take years just to release the OS, but the OS is supposed to release next year. Hence their leaking.

In this day and age, I don't understand why they hold closed betas anymore. I guess it's so they'll get a high number of people downloading the beta 1. Because if people already tried build 6801 and 6956, the hype will be less for Beta 1, I presume.

But seriously, in nowhere of my posts did I say that word-of-mouth is their main method of collecting data from testers. I was simply suggesting that there are more than one way to accrue feedback. (running water will seep through any crack) But your desire for personal attacks had rendered your hubris attitude to see otherwise.
