A few days ago Microsoft begged hardware makers to not to screw Windows 7 like Vista.

Today Microsoft revealed some staggering figures showing how often driver installations fail in Vista.

Microsoft is hoping for zero hardware install problems when Windows 7 finally hits the market, but is that really realistic when more than 10% of printer drivers for Vista are still failing to work properly?

Those 10% of printers are pretty shitty and old not to work with Vista.

IMO
Get a new printer if its THAT old.

Yes this is perfectly possible and action is already being taken.
Brother have already made Win7 drivers.

that's actually pretty low, if you ask me. Given all the world of hardware that works windows.
