This is an unannounced Windows 7 feature that libraries and schools will definitely use. Currently it takes a ton of RAM and CPU but I hope it will be improved in the final version.

It looks like an improved version of Windows SteadyState, that caches changes to your operating system and can remove all traces of them on rebooting. PC Safeguard can be configured on a per-user basis and it can also lock any hard drive you specify to prevent write access with just a couple of mouse clicks.

Heh, soon enough I think Windows 7 might become more bloated if anymore of these features are added. If not, then M$ has done some magnificent programming :)

I fear the same for windows 7. If they go on like this, people are probably gonna think windows 7 is no less bloated than vista.

As for me, I love the features that are rolling in. Even if it makes the OS bloated. :lol:

I have used SteadyState for keeping my little cousin away from my PC. Good to know that it's built in 7.
