wow, that's a improvement all right!! vista's 'static' RAM usage is 600MB!

Woh! Wtf mate? That's why you need more than 1gb

Im so tempted to just install Windows 7 as a main OS.

Me too. If only I could get my hands on a copy. It would probably run better than Vista on my computer because of the low static memory usage.

Just pirate it........

Don't enter a serial when installing and it says Evaluational Version when installed but says you can use it till Feb 2010, this will work for every Beta and Pre Beta until RC1 is released then you need a invite key.

If you can find a Vista RC1 key, it works.

Apparently <_<

Dual boot it then.

Seriously the more people pirate it the more problems will be found and reported.

Make sure you have 'Send Info to MS' turned on.

I doubt they would try and sue you because you used a beta they never charged for in the first place.

I think they handed it out at pdc to get leaked

Microsoft already are aware of millions of pirates.
They take no action.

Microsoft own.

that..i will have to agree with ... and it really helps them that they still have the most market share even if its pirated! they get more response, mroe suggestions, more fan sites n stuff...tell me is there a macmatrix.com? :P

Edit: actually there is :P but its anything but a community

That looks promising, hope they won't make it worse in the next betas

2-3 for photoshop to load

Nowai with only 1 GB of RAM, unless you have a extremely slim photoshop release.

Or a solid state drive
